CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE Terms and Conditions
CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE ("the Program") is a membership program operated and managed by Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited ("CTF Life" / “the Company”). By enrolling in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"). CTF Life may amend these T&Cs from time to time without prior notice. You should review these T&Cs periodically for the latest version.
Acceptance of Terms of Use
You must carefully read the following terms of use before continuing to use this Program. By accessing CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE platform and any of its interfaces (including but not limited to website pages, mobile applications, WeChat mini programs, and any other digital platforms) ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read and accept the following terms of use, and any other terms and conditions contained on the relevant interfaces of the Platform, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to the terms of use and/or the terms and conditions contained on the relevant interfaces of the Platform, please do not access the Platform or any of its interfaces.
Terms of Use
1. Membership Enrolment

The Program is open to members of the public who meet the following eligibility requirements and register through the Platform to become a member ("Member"). You must meet all of the following criteria at the time of application. In any event, CTF Life has the sole discretion to accept or reject any application for membership.

Aged 18 years or above; and
-
Holds a valid mobile phone number from one of the countries or regions available for selection in the system interface; and
-
Holds a valid email address.

Each individual holding a valid identity document (including but not limited to Hong Kong Identity card, passport, or other identity documents accepted by the Company) is only eligible for 1 (ONE) CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership.

When enrolling in the Program, you will be required to enter a one-time password sent to the mobile phone number registered with the Program to complete the enrolment.

The membership of the Program is not applicable to corporations or other legal entities.
2. CTF Life Customer Identity Verification

If you are a current policyholder of CTF Life, you can use the policy information registered with CTF Life (including but not limited to your mobile phone number and date of birth registered on the policy) to perform customer identity verification with the Program to enjoy exclusive privileges. Upon performing customer identity verification, you will be required to enter a one-time password sent to the mobile phone number registered with your CTF Life policy to complete the verification.

Members who have completed customer identity verification will be granted the relevant membership tier based on the membership requirements. The membership tiers and their requirements will be specified on the Platform and displayed on the electronic membership card. We will upgrade and/or downgrade members tiers based on the membership tier requirements without prior notice.

If you have not completed customer identity verification, you can still become a Basic Member of the Program and enjoy the privileges of that membership tier. Each person may only hold a maximum of one CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership, which is only applicable to you personally. Under no circumstances may you transfer the membership. Except as otherwise provided in these T&Cs or any other documents relating to the Program, you may not transfer, assign, sell, exchange, or pledge your membership rights to any other person or Member. Members must ensure that the information provided is accurate, up-to-date, and complete and update it when necessary. If you fail to meet the above requirements, CTF Life may, at its sole discretion, revoke or terminate your membership at any time.

The personal data and direct marketing preferences registered with the Program will be handled separately from the data related to your CTF Life policy. -
Each eligible CTF Life policyholder can only perform customer identity verification with their own membership account. Once the verification is completed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
3. Membership Tiers

Eligible policy refers to CTF Life policy including new and renewal policies that have passed the cooling-off period and are still in-force. Membership eligibility shall exclude policies under Investment-Linked Assurance Scheme (ILAS), Deferred Annuity Policy (QDAP), “Explorer” Free Personal Accident Plan, Super Kid Extended Whole Life and Value Enhance Option.

Premium paying policy refers to eligible policy that has outstanding premiums to be paid by the policyholder, and the paid-up date is later than the date on which the policy eligibility is being assessed by the Company. For a single premium policy, it is considered as a premium paying policy for one year from the policy issue date.

Aggregate annualized premium is calculated as the sum of the annualized premiums of all eligible policies, with 100% of the annual premium and 10% of the single premium being calculated.

Membership Validity

Gold and Diamond tiers

Once first activated, the tier remains valid for 36 consecutive months. After this period, membership is automatically extended for one year if renewal requirements are met.

If membership is terminated and later reapplied, membership tier eligibility will be reviewed:
-
Eligible for original tier – Validity equals the remaining months of the original membership period
-
Eligible for a higher tier – If it is the first activation of that tier, validity is 36 months. Otherwise, validity is 1 year.

Membership shall be automatically extended for one year upon meeting renewal requirements

Basic tier – Will not expire

Renewal
-
Regular membership eligibility review will be conducted for Gold and Diamond Members for renewal of membership.
-
Upon the end of the first 36 months of membership period, membership eligibility will be reviewed. If the renewal requirements are met (refer to 3 (vii) (c)), the membership of original tier will be extended for 1 additional year automatically. Otherwise, the membership tier will be downgraded (refer to 3 (ix)). Thereafter, membership eligibility will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Renewal requirements

Maintain the required aggregate annualized premium of original membership tier (refer to 3 (ii)); AND
-
Have at least one premium paying policy; AND
-
Have purchased at least one eligible policy within the past 3 years.

Upgrade
-
Calculation of aggregate annualized premium is processed regularly and the membership tier will be upgraded automatically if the requirements for a higher membership tier are met.
-
After upgrading to a higher membership tier, if it is the member’s first activation of that tier, the validity period is 36 months; otherwise, it is 12 months.
-
Downgrade
-
For Gold and Diamond Members, membership will be downgraded to Basic tier when Members do not have any in-force eligible policy. This check and tier change will be processed regularly.

At the time of the membership renewal review, Gold and Diamond Members will be downgraded if Members:
-
Do not maintain the required aggregate annualized premium – Downgrade to the tier corresponding to the aggregate annualized premium level they meet
-
Do not have at least one premium paying policy – Downgrade to the tier below
-
Have not purchased an eligible policy within the past 3 years – Downgrade to the next lower tier.
4. Member Services

Only Members of the Program are entitled to the relevant services, rewards, privileges, and benefits of the Program ("Member Services"). Member Services may only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. Upon becoming a Member, you can choose from a variety of Member Services of the Program, including goods, services, and offers provided by third-party partner companies other than CTF Life ("Third-Party Partners"). Each offer is subject to its own terms and conditions.

The scope of Member Services you are entitled to depends on your membership tier in the Program and is subject to relevant requirements. Please visit the Platform for details of the Program, including the scope of Member Services, requirements for use and obtaining Member Services. The content of the Platform is subject to change from time to time.
5. Rewards and Privileges
Members may apply to redeem rewards and privileges through the Program. We may accept or reject such applications at the Company’s discretion based on, among other things, the availability of the rewards.
i. Upgrade Privilege

Members who successfully register for CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE and upgrade to Gold Member for the first time, will be entitled to a one-time upgrade privilege of HK$500 Rosewood Hong Kong Gift Card.

Members who successfully register for CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE and upgrade to Diamond Member for the first time, will be entitled to a one-time upgrade privilege of HK$1,000 Rosewood Hong Kong Gift Card.

Gold Members and Diamond Members will receive redemption details for the Rosewood Hong Kong Gift Card via email within one month upon successfully upgrading their membership tier and verifying their identity. Once redeemed, it cannot be changed or cancelled. No replacement will be issued for lost, stolen, or damaged Upgrade Privilege.

The promotion period is from 1 January, 2026 to 31 December, 2026, both dates inclusive.
-
Each eligible member can only enjoy this Upgrade Privilege once during the promotion period.
-
Upgrade Privilege cannot be exchanged for cash, other gifts, or privileges. The use of this reward is subject to the terms and conditions of Rosewood Hong Kong. CTF Life is not the provider of Upgrade Privilege and therefore will not be responsible for the Upgrade Privilege or any consequences arising from its use.

In case of any disputes, CTF Life and Rosewood Hong Kong reserve the right to make the final decision.
ii. CTF Life Privileges
Members of the Program can enjoy the following CTF Life Privileges:

CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE Member Exclusive Premium Discount Coupon ("Premium Discount Coupon")

The Premium Discount Coupon is only applicable to members who have filled in their contact information on the Platform and successfully submitted the online form.
-
Each member can obtain a maximum Premium Discount Coupon of HK$2,000 once during the campaign period.
-
Customers must submit the new policy application through a Life Planner to be entitled to the Premium Discount Coupon.
-
The use of the Premium Discount Coupon is subject to the "CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE Member Exclusive Premium Discount Coupon" terms and conditions.

"Explorer" Free Personal Accident Plan
-
To enjoy the offer, members must submit the application from 22 November 2025 – 30 June 2026 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”), and such “Explorer” Free Personal Accidental Insurance Plan (“this plan”) application must be approved by CTF Life.
-
The member shall not apply for more than one “Explorer” Free Personal Accident Plan for the same insured during the period from 22 November 2025 – 30 June 2026 (both dates inclusive) (the “Specified Period”). If more than one such policy is applied for and issued to cover the same insured during the Specified Period, we shall have the sole and absolute discretion to treat that insured as being covered only under the policy first applied for during the Specified Period. Any other policy(ies) applied for and issued during the Specified Period shall be deemed null and void as of their respective policies' effective dates. For the avoidance of doubt, the above arrangement will not affect any other “Explorer” Free Personal Accident Plan issued for the same insured before the Specified Period.

iii. Other Member Activities & Privileges

The Member Services of the Program will include activities, services, and privileges (“Other Privileges”) provided by Third-Party Partners other than CTF Life. Before using such Other Privileges, you must understand and agree to the separate terms and conditions, privacy policy, and personal information collection statement of the Third-Party Partner.

CTF Life will update the content of Other Privileges from time to time. Please pay attention to the terms and conditions of the Other Privileges when using it.
-
All Other Privileges are only available while stocks last. In addition, there may be restrictions on the location and time for redemption of Other Privileges. CTF Life reserves the right to terminate the provision of any privilege or to substitute a similar privilege of equivalent value at any time without prior notice.

Other Privileges cannot be redeemed for cash or other gifts.

CTF Life is not the provider of all Other Privileges and therefore will not be liable for any matters relating to the rewards and services and the consequences arising from the use of such rewards and services. The terms and conditions relating to the rewards shall prevail. We shall not be liable for any matters relating thereto. We reserve the right to grant you Other Privileges and all final decisions, only if we have confirmed that your account is valid and in good standing.

You can only redeem the relevant Other Privileges at designated locations and/or through designated channels as stipulated in the Program, and we have the right to make the final decision on such Other Privileges.
-
The granting of all Other Privileges is subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis (if applicable).
-
When redeeming Other Privileges, we and the designated Third-Party Partner have the right to request you to present your electronic membership card/membership number and/or relevant redemption proof for identity verification.
6. Designated Group Membership
-
Members of the Program can also register to become members of New World CLUB and KLUB 11. For the registration process, you must first log in to the Platform and register and match your membership through the designated link. New World CLUB (NWC) and KLUB 11 memberships (“Group Membership”) are managed and operated by New World Loyalty Programme Limited (NWLP) and K11 Loyalty Program Limited (K11 LP) respectively. NWLP and K11 LP shall have absolute discretion to approve Group Membership applications and grant relevant Group Membership.

The membership validity period for New World CLUB VIVA, New World CLUB DIAMOND, KLUB 11 Gold Card Membership, and KLUB 11 Black Card Membership is 12 months, commencing from the date of membership enrolment. Each eligible member can only enjoy a maximum of 1-year New World CLUB VIVA or New World CLUB DIAMOND and/or KLUB 11 Gold Card Membership or KLUB 11 Black Card Membership once through the Program.

If a member is an existing NWC and/or KLUB 11 member and their NWC and/or KLUB 11 membership is not eligible for an upgrade due to this Program, the member's NWC and/or KLUB 11 membership tier will remain unchanged.

If a member fails to meet the Group Membership renewal requirements, the 1-year New World CLUB VIVA, New World CLUB DIAMOND, KLUB 11 Gold Card Membership, and KLUB 11 Black Card Membership will be automatically downgraded to New World CLUB CIRCLE or KLUB 11 Regular Membership after the expiry date without further notice.

Any registration submitted by ineligible members will be granted New World CLUB CIRCLE or KLUB 11 Regular Membership. Each eligible member is limited to one registration only and must ensure that all information provided in this Program is true, correct, and accurate.

All Group Membership and relevant benefits are non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-redeemable for cash.

NWLP, New World CLUB, KLUB 11, K11 LP, and their participating merchants (if applicable) reserve the right to amend the relevant member benefits without prior notice. In case of any dispute, NWLP, New World CLUB, KLUB 11, K11 LP, and their participating merchants reserve the right of final decision. CTF Life and CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE are not the providers of the Group Membership and therefore will not be liable for any matters relating to the product or service.

Designated Group Membership is subject to terms and conditions. For details, please refer to the terms and conditions of the New World CLUB and/or KLUB 11 Rewards Program.
7. Third-Party Partners
CTF Life partners with different Third-Party Partners to provide Member Services such as privileges, services, and offers. The Program and Third-Party Partners will each use and handle Members' personal data in accordance with their respective privacy policy statements and personal information collection statements. For details, please refer to the separate privacy policy and personal information collection statement of the Third-Party Partner.
The Program does not represent an endorsement, approval, sponsorship, or recommendation by CTF Life of any services/products provided or described within the Platform. CTF Life shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered or incurred by Members of the Program in connection with the use of Member Services relating to Third-Party Partners. CTF Life shall not be liable if any Third-Party Partner withdraws from the Rewards Program at any time for any reason and/or changes or discontinues the provision of any Member Services, services, or offers.
8. Links to Third-Party Partners and Other Websites
The Platform may contain hyperlinks to websites, resources, or advertisements operated by Third-Party Partners that are beyond the control of CTF Life. You are at your own risk when accessing and using these hyperlinks and are subject to the terms and conditions of access or use established by them. Links to websites operated by Third-Party Partners do not constitute an endorsement, approval, sponsorship, or introduction by CTF Life of any services/products offered on their websites, nor do they represent any form of cooperation between CTF Life and such Third-Party Partners.
CTF Life shall not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage, liability arising from the use of Third-Party Partner websites. Related questions should be directed to the relevant website administrator.
9. Termination of CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE Membership

Members can terminate their CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership within the Platform anytime.
-
We reserve the right to terminate your CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership and related Member Services if we believe that you have failed to qualify for or maintain your CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership for any reason or have violated any of the T&Cs or rules.

Once your CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership is terminated, you will not be able to reapply within 6 months from the date of termination. Regardless of whether you reapply in the future, all Member Services you enjoyed under the Program and all Member Services generated before the termination of your membership will be terminated, and no refund will be given in any form.

When reapplying for CTF Life ∙ CIRCLE membership after termination:

If you are eligible for the same tier as your previous membership, the membership period will be the remaining period of original membership.
-
If you are eligible for an upgrade, the new membership period will be 36 months.
10. Sharing and Transfer of Personal Data to Designated Third-Party Partners and Storage of Personal Data
With your consent, the necessary types of personal information (if applicable) collected about you through the Program for the Program-related purposes may be shared with and/or transferred (if applicable) to third-party partner membership programs and/or loyalty programs to which you have registered as a member. Personal data may be stored on the servers and/or data centres of third-party partners, collaborators, agents, contractors, suppliers and service providers entrusted by us to process your personal data.
11. Amendments to Terms and conditions for use of the relevant web pages separately set out on The Platform
This Program may amend the terms and conditions, including those detailed on the relevant webpages of The Platform, from time to time without prior notice. By continuing to use this Platform and the relevant pages after any such amendments, you agree to be bound by such revisions.
12. Modifications to Membership Services
The Program reserves the right to modify or suspend or permanently terminate the Program or any part thereof at any time without notice. You agree that The Company shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension or termination of the Program or any part thereof.
13. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided based on the "as seen" and "what can be provided" basis. You must bear all the consequences caused by using The Platform. The Platform is for your personal, non-commercial, non-work-related use only. The Company does not make any representations or make any warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any non-infringement, merchantability, accuracy, or a warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The Company does not guarantee or assume any of the following responsibilities:

Whether the information provided by The Platform is accurate, sufficient, timely or reliable;
-
Whether the information provided by The Platform is free from defects, errors, omissions, viruses or any harmful objects that can change, delete, add or damage your software, data or equipment;
-
Messages sent via the Internet will not be intercepted, interrupted or lost;
-
When connected, The Platform is available or uninterrupted;
-
The shortcomings of The Platform will be corrected; or
-
There are no viruses or other harmful components in this Platform or the server that provides it; the confidentiality of information sent through this Platform will be maintained. In any case, The Company shall not be liable to you or any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses (including any business losses or loss of profits) incurred due to the use or inability to use such information. You should only use and rely on your own skills and judgment when using or interpreting this information. You are responsible for ensuring that use of such information complies with all applicable legal requirements.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. System Usage
The Company does not guarantee that your access to the Platform will be uninterrupted, continuous or secure. Part or the entire Platform may become unavailable for any period of time or for various reasons, including system failure or interruption, Internet outage or other technical failures. The Company has no control over and is not responsible for these reasons. You agree to bear all risks associated with the use of the Platform and will not hold us liable for any damages or losses resulting from your inability to access the Platform for any reason. The Company reserves the right to take the Platform, or parts of it, offline for various reasons, including system maintenance or upgrades.
15. Severability of Terms
If any provision is deemed illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. For any disputes related to the Platform, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
17. Language
In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
18. Third-Party Rights
Notwithstanding the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623), these Terms and Conditions are intended for the benefit of The Company and you only, and not for the benefit of any third party. Any person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions cannot enforce any of the provisions under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance. The rights of the Company and you to terminate, rescind, or agree to any variation, waiver, or settlement under these Terms and Conditions are not subject to the consent of any third party.
19. Privacy Policy Statement
We will handle all personal data collected under the Program in accordance with the “Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance” of Hong Kong and the “People’s Republic of China Addendum” (where applicable), the Personal Information Protection Law of Mainland China, and our Privacy Policy Statement. Please refer to our Privacy Policy Statement for details.
Before collecting your personal data under the Program, we will provide you with the Personal Data Collection Statement related to the Program for your review and consent. This statement outlines the types of personal data collected, the importance, the purposes for which the data is used, confidentiality, transfer recipients, and your rights to access/correct personal data and use it for direct marketing purposes with your consent.
20. Your Rights
In addition to opting out of direct marketing on the "My Account" page on the Platform, you also have the following rights:

To inquire whether we hold any of your personal data;

To access the personal data we hold about you;

To request correction of any inaccurate personal data; and

To inquire about our policies and practices regarding personal data and its types.

We may charge a reasonable fee for processing any personal data access requests under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
The Platform is not intended for use by any person in any jurisdiction where the publication of this website's information is prohibited by law due to the person's nationality, residence, or other reasons. The products and services mentioned on the Platform are only available to Hong Kong citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals residing in Hong Kong. Nothing on the Platform should be construed as an offer or solicitation to provide or sell products or services outside of Hong Kong.
If CTF Life, its subsidiaries, or affiliates offer or sell any insurance products or other products or services (collectively "Products") in any jurisdiction where it would be illegal to do so, such offering or sale will be void. Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Platform, CTF Life, its subsidiaries, or affiliates make no representations that:

The content of the Platform is applicable outside of Hong Kong; or
-
The Products comply with the laws of any country outside of Hong Kong.
If you are in a jurisdiction where viewing the content of the Platform is restricted or restricted by law, you must comply with such restrictions or immediately cease accessing the Platform and its interfaces, as applicable. CTF Life, its subsidiaries, or affiliates will not be liable for any person accessing the Platform in violation of applicable restrictions.
The terms of the Platform are governed by Hong Kong law and interpreted according to Hong Kong law. You agree to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts for any disputes arising from the use of the Platform.
